English: Atelier "All InclusivE" Wetzlar
A Meeting Place for Diversity, Inclusion, Tolerance & Cohesion
With our project, Atelier "All Inclusive," we aim to create a place for encounters in Wetzlar and the Lahn-Dill district. This space is intended to promote exchange, dialogue, as well as acceptance, diversity, tolerance, and democracy. The project aims to strengthen self-help among individuals and support the closer integration of society.
We offer a range of open activities complemented by workshops, lectures, workgroups, and self-help groups. These include both prepared content by educational professionals and network partners, as well as the wishes and ideas of our target audience.
Visiting our facility is possible during the designated opening hours for everyone. Participation in workshops and other activities requires registration via email. Vacant spots are continuously filled.
The project targets (newly) immigrated individuals with and without disabilities, who often face barriers that prevent them from participating in societal life and further integration processes. Additionally, we aim to reach the relatives of this group and locals with our offerings.
Our long-term goals:
- Finding ways out of isolation and promoting participation
- Supporting intercultural openness between immigrants and locals
- Enabling perspective shifts through educational offerings and discussion rounds
- Promoting integration and creating new perspectives
With these goals, we aim to make a sustainable contribution to the promotion of diversity, inclusion, and social cohesion.
Funding:
The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community (BMI) and runs from early February 2024 to the end of December 2026.
